While Erin is currently Kaleidoscope’s Interim Director, she is also the instructor for almost all of our online classes. Which ones do you think might be her favorite types of classes? Read on and take a guess!

What do you teach at Kaleidoscope? I teach many of our virtual classes.

List any Family/Pets: My husband, Chris, my kids Tennyson, Nigel, and Gwendolyn, and some very friendly cats!

What was your favorite topic to learn about when you were young? I’ve always been interested in the arts, and also history.

What is your favorite topic to learn about now? I still love the arts and history, as well as sociology. People are fascinating!

What project are you working on now that you are proud of? Kaleidoscope is my biggest project right now! I’m enjoying making plans for next year and developing new curricula. On a smaller scale, I always have few knitting projects that I enjoy creating!

Do you have a favorite color? Which one? Turquoise!

What’s your favorite thing about teaching? I love interacting with youth of all ages and seeing their creativity and imagination in what they learn and create.

If you could go any one place in the world, where would you go and what would you do? I don’t have an exact location in mind, but it would be outdoors and it would be quiet and peaceful.

Everyone has one, what’s your hidden talent (something you’re great at that student may not know about)? I have French skills that rarely get used these days.

What’s your favorite food? Homemade bread
